As I was processing living in a post-covid world and attending classes online, one of the things I missed most was getting dressed up to see people. I have always had a love for fashion and often use my outfits as a means of self expression. With the introduction of covid and social distancing, I was forced to reexamine my relationship to my clothes now that I would be the only person seeing what I was wearing.

I made this cook book as a way to explore my family's heritage and document some of the stories and traditions my grandma has passed down to me and my siblings.
The left page is a painting my grandma copied from her favorite artist who did a series of paintings of her hometown in Tunis.
