Photography
Heading 1

I took these photos as I was processing my feelings about entering the COVID 19 pandemic. In this series, I wanted to try and capture that feeling of unpreparedness; how the world was interrupted by the virus, and humanity's subsequent efforts to adapt and carry on with no transition time in between.

Unprecedented Times, 2020

My childhood friend, Seth, is slowly losing his eyesight. When showing things to him, he often needs to look from a significantly closer distance than most people in order to be able to make out exactly what he is looking at. These photos were shot while the two of us walked around the Barton Springs area of Austin. In each photo, Seth is standing at the minimum distance he needs to be in order to see the same thing that I can from farther away.
